What an incredible Homecoming Spirit Week! Today, we wrapped up our celebrations, and our administration took a moment to recognize our AMAZING staff for a job well done. 🌟 PBIS had KONA ICE to come for our Scholars. Everyone showed that JAGUAR PRIDE in wearing their Spirit Tshirts.
A HUGE Thank You to our dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive families for participating and making this week so special. Your energy, hard work, and continuous support mean everything to our school community! 💙💛

🎉🕺🏾 DAY 4: J.E. JOHNSON WAS ROLLING WITH THE DECADES — 80s STYLE! 🎶🪩

Oh, what a DAY! 😍 J.E. Johnson Elementary took it back to the 80s, both at school and during the Homecoming Parade! From Michael Jackson to LL Cool J, our Scholars came READY to represent the decade! 🎤🎧✨

I spotted Michael Jackson in the building and just HAD to ask him to dance! 😂💃🏾 Next thing I knew, he was hitting me with the MOONWALK! 🕺🏾🤣 Then there was LL Cool J boldly declaring, “I’M BAD!” 😎🔥 Y’all, these babies had me ALL THE WAY ENTERTAINED! The 80s vibes were REAL! 😍🙌🏾

🎉 THE HOMECOMING PARADE WAS LOVELY! 🎉

Our J.E. Johnson Homecoming Court Scholars, Teaching Staff, Student Council, and Save the Children represented J.E. Johnson Elementary with PRIDE during the JDC Homecoming Parade! 💙🤍🖤🐆

✨🐭 TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY AT J.E. JOHNSON ELEMENTARY! 🐆💙🤍🖤

Day 3 of Homecoming Spirit Week was all about DISNEY DAY & BRUNCH WITH OUR HOMECOMING COURT! 🏰🎀

Our scholars came dressed in their cute Walt Disney attire and Disney tees, bringing all the magic and fun to J.E. Johnson! 😍✨ I even spotted a MERMAID walking through the parking lot! 🧜🏽‍♀️😊 Now, that's what I call Disney Magic!

J.E. Johnson Hospitality Team cooked up a delicious BRUNCH for our Little Jaguars this morning! 👑🍽️ This special treat was in honor of our Homecoming Court Scholars, who will represent J.E. Johnson Elementary during the JDCHS Homecoming festivities on Friday night at Halftime! 🏈🎉

And guess what? Our Royal Court LOVED the menu! 😋❤️ From Mickey and Minnie-shaped chicken and waffles to plain and cheese scrambled eggs and fresh fruit cups, our Little Jags enjoyed a BRUNCH fit for ROYALTY! 🧇🍳🍓👑

🙌🏾 A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE THIS BRUNCH A SUCCESS! Whether you were cooking, decorating, donating, serving, or cleaning up, your time and efforts did not go unnoticed. We appreciate everyone who helped make our scholars feel extra special! ❤️🫶🏾
