It is with deep sorrow that we announce the closure of The Bee and The Butterfly Learning Center, effective this Friday, December 6. After many years of providing dedicated service to our community, the childcare business has unfortunately become financially unsustainable. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to our staff and families for their unwavering trust, love, and support throughout the years.

In addition, with Ascension Parish Schools announcing closure tomorrow,

The Bee and The Butterfly will also be closed tomorrow, Friday September 13.

The Bee and the Butterfly is closed today (Wednesday Sept 11) and tomorrow (Thursday Sept 12).

If we have power and the roads are open on Friday, we will be open and operating as usual with before and aftercare for school kids.

Friday, Ascension Parish Schools are scheduled to be closed already. If we have power and the roads are open on Friday, we will be open even though the schools will be closed.

Hey, everyone! With construction complete, our teachers have been working tirelessly to ready their classrooms and get the center ready. At this time, we are playing the necessary game of red tape and phone calls to get all of our inspections complete so we can open up safely for our families.

Construction has finally been completed! We are now meeting with the Health Department, Fire Marshal and Department of Licensing. This is all required due to the damage from Hurricane Ida. We are hoping to reopen early next week and as soon as we have a firm date, we’ll let everyone know.
