Tomorrow is the start of Attendance Awareness Month, and a few absences throughout the year can add up and impact a student’s learning and progress. Every year, we encourage our students to make attendance a priority and aim for 5 or fewer absences.

Coach Gaspard’s Quest for Success classes put communication, trust and teamwork to the test today with a blindfolded obstacle course! Students had to rely on one another, communicate clearly, and build trust to successfully navigate the course.

Sometimes the best lessons happen when you can’t see what’s coming! 👀💙💚

Our Food Science students participated in their first cooking lab of the year this past week, the Star Baker Cookie Competition! Baking from scratch, the students demonstrated their mastery of cooking skills such as safety, sanitation, measurement, equipment use, reading recipes, cooking vocabulary, and professional kitchen procedures. Guest teachers, staff and administration sat on the panel of judges to blind taste test! Let's see who will win the Star Baker Award. Stay tuned to see in next week's post!!
