Now my hardest post!(cue ugly crying 😭) It was so hard to say goodbye to these kiddos today! I can't believe how fast this year went! In September I watched these shy scared tiny 3 year olds come into my classroom (often times in tears). Over the last 9 months, I've had the pleasure and privilege to watch these precious kiddos make new friends, get excited about learning, have fun, blossom and grow and prepare them for 4K! Each and every step of the way was challenging and rewarding at the same time!

Each and everyone of them holds a special place in my heart! Not only because I truly love them like my own, but also because they were my very 1st students! I am truly grateful, thankful and blessed to be able to do what I love and have always wanted to do! Kids are my passion!

Thank you parents for trusting me with your precious little ones and allowing me to help shape their little minds and help prepare them for their future at BAK and through their school career! I am excited to see where the future takes them and I hope they come back and visit me often over the years!

Thank you families for making my first year teaching so memorable! Everyone was so generous with donations for our classroom whenever we needed them throughout the year! I was overwhelmed and grateful for all the heartfelt gifts throughout the year as well!

These kiddos will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart! Have a wonderful summer! Please keep in touch and share some pics of your summer adventures with me!

After the movie Ms. Jenni's friends parked their cars and went back up stairs to get into our swim wear. 🩱👙🩳

Before we headed outside for some sweet summer treats and sprinklers, we made a quick stop in the 4K wing to see where our classrooms will be next year! The classrooms will look a lot different, but we know where we will go!

We got to pick whatever we wanted from RJ's Street Treats ice cream truck! There were lots of yummy choices! We had to try and eat it fast though because they started to melt. But that was ok because we got to run through the sprinklers next!

Thank you to Randy & Amy Ludvik of RJ's Street Treats we loved our ice cream treats and your horn! 📯 Ms. Jenni knows a lot of kiddos are going to be listening for that ice cream truck music this summer! 🎶🍦

Again thank you to our PTO for covering the cost of the ice cream treats for us to enjoy! And a big thank you to Donnie our janitor or Mr. Donnie as the kids know him for turning the sprinklers on for us to enjoy! We had so much fun playing in the sprinklers, cooling off and enjoying those refreshing ice cream treats!

Ms. Jenni's friends had a jam packed day full of fun on our last day of 3K! Ms Jenni bets everyone sleeps well tonight!

We started our morning with a trip to the BAK drive-in theater. We drove the cars we worked so hard on yesterday to our drive-in movie! The featured matinee was "A Bugs Life ". It was so cool watching the movie on the big screen in our cars with Mrs. Ackerman's friends & Mrs. G's friends!

At intermission we got to take our coins we earned and go get popcorn, juice and candy at the Office Concession Stand to eat while we enjoyed the rest of the movie.🍿🧃🍫

📣 Ms. Jenni's friends would like to send a huge shout out and a huge thank you to our PTO for supplying all the movie treats, Mrs. Carlson and Miss Becki for the projector and speaker for the drive-in, Mrs. Stuckey, Mrs. Forde and Mrs. Ziegler for running the concession stand and finally the Opportunity Center for the boxes to create our awesome cars! Ms. Jenni hopes the cars bring tons of more fun and enjoyment at home too!

Ms Jenni's friends heard the story " The Underpants Zoo" today! It was a silly story about all the animals in the zoo wearing different underpants. 🩳

For our project we worked on getting our boxes decorated and ready to use as our cars for our drive-in movie tomorrow. Ms Jenni showed us what old drive-in theaters were like. She told us that going to drive-in theaters was one of her favorite things to do with her family as a kid! We can't wait to use the coins we earned to purchase popcorn, juice and candy as a treat for the movie!

It was another busy day, so not a lot of pictures today.....sorry!

✳️Remember to send swim suits, trunks, and a towel for sprinklers tomorrow. We have a very fun and busy day plannned!!!
