🇫🇷 FIND YOUR FRENCH LEVEL! 🇫🇷
Not sure which French class is right for you? Our classes follow the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), the international standard for describing language proficiency.
Here’s what each level means:
🇫🇷 A1 — Beginner You are starting French from scratch or have very little previous experience. You will learn essential vocabulary and expressions, introduce yourself, ask and answer simple questions, and communicate in basic everyday situations.
🇫🇷 A2 — Elementary You can already understand and use basic French. At this level, you will expand your vocabulary, strengthen your grammar, and learn to communicate about familiar topics such as family, work, travel, shopping, and daily activities.
🇫🇷 B1 — Intermediate You can handle many everyday conversations and understand the main points of clear French. You will work on expressing opinions, describing experiences, telling stories, and communicating more independently in French.
🇫🇷 B2 — Upper Intermediate You are becoming a confident French speaker and can communicate with native speakers with greater ease. You will develop your fluency, discuss more complex topics, express and defend your ideas, and understand a wider range of authentic French.
🇫🇷 C1 — Advanced You communicate fluently and effectively in most situations. You will refine your vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and ability to express nuanced ideas while working with increasingly sophisticated French-language materials.
🇫🇷 C2 — Expert You have an exceptional command of French and can understand virtually everything you hear or read. You can express yourself precisely, fluently, and naturally, including in complex or specialized situations.
