15-year-old pianist FRITZ VOLINI, a student at the academy, received a nice trophy for netting FIRST PLACE in the highest tier ’VIRTUOSO’ level at this year’s piano competition at the 64th annual festival sponsored by the Mid-America Music Association. The Prairie Village Art Show was a lot of fun on Saturday! In spite of a brief heavy rainstorm, everything went very smoothly. Thanks to Harv Fitzer, MacKenzie Reed, Sheri Boatright-Guthrie, Jennifer Lacy, Gina Hart-Kemper, Larry Beekman and their students for making it a successful event.
