Service in action! 🎒📚 The 6th Annual Back to School Supply Drive

PV Greeks + Friends Back to School Supply Drive was another great day of giving back. Together, we distributed hundreds of school supplies to local families, helping students start the year prepared and ready to learn.

After the drive, we continued our day of service at Herman T. Jones Elementary School, named in honor of one of our chapter’s charter members, Brother Herman T. Jones. We were proud to support the faculty, staff, and students as they prepare for another successful school year.

Thank you to every organization, volunteer, donor, and community member who helped make it happen. When we come together, our impact goes even further! 🤝🏾

These moments from last year’s event remind us that something as simple as a backpack or a pack of pencils can make a big difference in a child’s confidence heading into a new school year.

When we welcome a Brother into the Omega Chapter, we were reminded that Brotherhood is measured not only in the moments we celebrate, but in the moments we stand together through loss.

We gathered to honor a life, embrace a family, and strengthen one another. May we never wait for moments like these to show love you, to check in, or to show up.

For truly, we are our Brother’s Keeper. May we continue to love deeply, support faithfully, and carry one another through every season.

This month, the Brothers of Epsilon Tau Lambda came together for our Brotherhood Summit and Chapter Advancement Weekend to strengthen our bond, reflect on our progress, and chart the course for the future of our chapter.

Through fellowship, meaningful dialogue, leadership development, strategic planning, and committee engagement, we reaffirmed our commitment to Brotherhood, accountability, and excellence. As we prepare to celebrate our historic 75th Anniversary, we remain focused on building a stronger chapter and ensuring every brother has a voice in shaping what comes next.

The work continues, and the future is bright.

📚 6th Annual Back to School Supply Drive 📚

Join the PV Greeks and Friends as we come together to support students and families in our community by helping them start the school year prepared for success.

Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026
Time: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Location: 2532 9th St., Hempstead, TX 77445

We are collecting new backpacks and school supplies to benefit local school districts. Families with students in grades K through 12 are invited to receive free school supplies beginning at 12:00 PM while supplies last.

Attendees can also take advantage of free haircuts, hair braiding, and medical services while supplies last.

Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of local students. We look forward to seeing you there.
