At Jones Elementary, we are lucky to have a registrar who goes above and beyond to make our students feel special!

For her birthday, Mrs. Gonzalez celebrated by bringing surprise gifts and holding a special drawing for students who were present today to win a prize! What a fun way to celebrate her birthday while recognizing our students for showing up!

At Jones, WE’RE ALL IN FOR ATTENDANCE! 🐾 Every day counts, every student matters, and our Jaguars are showing up and making a difference!

Help us wish Mrs. Gonzalez a very happy birthday and thank her for all the ways she makes Jones Elementary a special place to be!

Happy Instructional Coach Day to two of the BEST! ❤️🐾

Mrs. Fontenot and Ms. Gentry keep us on our game, keep our teachers prepared for what’s coming next, and are always there to support, encourage, and help us grow.

We are so thankful for everything you pour into our teachers and students each day. Jones is better because of you two! ❤️🖤

Happy Principal Appreciation Month to our fearless leader, Mrs. Schmidt!

We are so thankful for the heart, leadership, dedication, and love she pours into our students, staff, and Jones Elementary every single day. She keeps our Jaguars moving forward and reminds us what it means to have Fierce Hearts & Bright Futures! ❤️🖤

When you see Mrs. Schmidt around campus this month, show her a little extra appreciation with a Diet Coke, a Crumbl cookie, a hug, or high five!🥤🍪🙌

We appreciate you, Mrs. Schmidt! ❤️🐾

Apparently, National Chewing Gum Day is serious business at Jones. 😂🫧

Our staff took on one last challenge before heading into Fall Break: Who can blow the BIGGEST bubble?! The competition was fierce, the bubbles were questionable, and the laughs were absolutely worth it. 😂

Nothing like a little Wednesday fun to POP us right into Fall Break! 🍂🫧❤️🐆

🎶 Do you remember… the 21st night of September? 🎶

Oh, our 5th graders REMEMBER. 😂🕺💃

They danced their way through September 21st like Earth, Wind & Fire personally put it on the calendar for them. 🔥

When the calendar gives you the perfect excuse for a dance break, you take it! 🐆❤️

📰 EXTRA, EXTRA! Our Grandparents Are GRAND! ❤️

Monday and Tuesday were extra special at Jones Elementary as we welcomed our Jaguar grandparents and grand-friends to campus! 🥰

We loved seeing our Jaguars light up as they spent time with some of their favorite people. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made our Grandparents Day celebration one for the front page! 📰❤️🐾

Game time is the best time, especially when it’s earned!
Some of our hard-working 4th graders recently showed incredible growth on their assessments, earning a trip to the front office to spin the prize wheel. Today, students who won "Game Time with a Friend" redeemed their prize—and it was a total blast!
From board games to endless laughs, everyone got in on the fun, including our principal, assistant principal, and counselor. We are so proud of our students' hard work and dedication. Keep shining, 4th grade! 🌟📚🎲
