We’d love your help on board the first treat train of the year! DOLLY PARTON STYLE! 🪩

This Friday we are celebrating 9/25 at the elementary school and heard from many of you that you aren’t able to do a full treat train, but would love to pitch in! So here we go! We love this idea!

All donations are requested by this Thursday 9/24 and can be dropped in the office for PTO!

It's our first treat train! In honor of Dolly Parton, we will have a "9 to 5" themed treat train for our teachers THIS Friday, 9/25. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Please have your snacks to school by Thursday, 9/24. Thank you!

It’s our first meeting of the year!

Biggest agenda item is the proposal to combine the Primary and Intermediate PTO to work together to support both buildings!

Lots of fun activities to plan and ways to get involved!

We hope to see you there!

🍎 KINDERGARTEN LUNCHROOM HELPERS 🍎

https://kindergarten-lunchroom-helpers.cheddarup.com

Help our newest Tigers master the lunchroom!

Kindergarten lunch is a BIG learning experience! 😊
Our amazing kindergarten teachers and staff do a wonderful job caring for our students every day, but those first few weeks can take a little extra time as our kindergarteners learn all the ins and outs of the lunchroom.
We’re looking for a few parent/guardian volunteers to help during kindergarten lunch from 11:30–12:00.

*please note NO other siblings including babies and toddlers can accompany you to this volunteer slot.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Nothing complicated — just be an extra set of helping hands!
You may help our kindergarteners:
🍽️ Get through the lunch line
🔢 Find their numbered spot with their class
🥛 Open milk cartons
🍎 Open Lunchables and other tricky packages
🧻 Grab napkins and anything else they need
❤️ Feel comfortable and confident in the lunchroom
The BEST part? Your 30 minutes of help gives our kindergarten teachers a chance to step away and enjoy a quick lunch before they head right back to their students.

⏰ VOLUNTEER DETAILS
Lunch: 11:30–12:00
Please arrive by: 11:20 AM
When you arrive:
Bring your driver’s license
Sign in as a volunteer on the iPads in the front office
Head to the lunchroom and wait by the book vending machine for the kindergarten teachers to walk in with their class.

❤️ A QUICK NOTE FOR PARENTS
This particular volunteer opportunity may not be the best fit for every child.
If your kindergartener is likely to become upset when you leave, please don’t feel any pressure to sign up! There will be LOTS of opportunities to volunteer throughout the school year, and we want this first experience to be a positive one for everyone.
This is simply an immediate need during those first few weeks while our newest Tigers are learning the ropes.

🐯 LET'S GET THIS YEAR STARTED!
PGPS PTO is SO excited to meet all of our new kindergarten families!
Thank you for helping our teachers, supporting our students, and being part of the PGPS family. We hope this is just the beginning of a wonderful year of volunteering together!

Thank you, Kindergarten Parents! 💛🖤

LAST WEEK FOR FUND THE FUN!!

Hey everyone! We are still short on our fundraising goal to help fund all the fun things as the year wraps up!

Now is the time if you’ve not supported your kids yet!

🎉 The Final FUN Fund 🎉
Transparency Matters 💛
No selling. No pressure. Just honesty.
We know times are tough. That’s why we limited fundraising this year. Instead of asking families to sell items, we simply want to share what it takes to finish the year strong.
🎉 What’s Ahead
Inflatable Day (PRE-K Water Day) — $2,000
Conference Meals for Teachers — $1,200
Staff Appreciation Week — $2,200
STEAM Night — $500
Kindergarten Round-Up Decorations — $200
End-of-Year Celebrations — $400
"Because Everything Costs More" Fund — $500 💛
⭐ Total Needed: $7,000
We currently have $8,000 in our account and hope to responsibly roll over $5,000 to start next year strong.
If you’re able to give, any amount helps. If not, we completely understand — your support in every form means the world.

🏆 Friendly Competition (Ends April 1st!)
Each grade level (and each class within the grade!) will compete to see who raises the most.
We’ll post updates on social media, in Rooms, and on the lunchroom bulletin board so you can see who’s in the lead!
🎉 Top Grade: Glow Party
✨ Top Class per Grade: Popsicles on the playground + extra recess
Plus — we’ll announce smaller weekly competitions along the way!
Thank you for helping us finish the year strong!
Thank you for helping us give our students a joyful finish to the year!

🔥ALL STUDENTS WHO RAISE $50 will get a pizza lunch party with the Tiger!🍕
