Attention Prairie City High School Students:

Do to the recent hires at PCHS, and some shuffling of classes, we need all incoming 9th through 12th graders to come in and re-pick their electives. Come to the High School Office and see Susie between 1pm and 5pm on Monday, August 24th and Tuesday, August 25th. I have attached a PDF copy of the new schedule to this message as well a picture below. Be ready to select a first and second choice for each elective.

As your athlete starts sports this fall they will have a athletic handbook and emergency contact information form that must be submitted before they can participate in games. Please fill out and sign the papers and return to their coach. The actual Prairie City Athletic Handbook can be found on our athletics page along with the most up to date schedules. Thank you.

Just a reminder that high school sports will start on Monday. Football will be 6-8:30 am and 4-6:30 pm with parent meeting Monday at 6:30 in cafeteria. More detailed practice schedule in SportsYou. Volleyball will be from 4-7pm. Cheer will start Monday August 24 6-8pm for those that signed up for cheer.
Middle school football will start for grades 5-8 first day of school. Middle school volleyball grades 6-8 will start Monday August 24. 5th grade will start first week of school directly after class is out and will be formatted like a rec style team.
Thank you and don't forget knee pads and cleats if you need them. Physicals as well.
