2024 Prague Public School Bond The 2024 Prague School Bond Committee is pleased to unveil our efforts in support of the school bond.

A very sincere Thank You to the patrons of the Prague School District for your confidence in this committee to develop a plan to move our school forward. Your votes today, approving the $28.3 million bond proposal, sent a message to our students, administrators and community that the future of Prague Public Schools is worth our investment and commitment.
As this committee moves forward into the design phase of the project, we do so with the same level of dedication and determination that has brought us to this point.
We look forward to the day the new Prague High School is completed and we can all remember with pride April 2, 2024, when the voters said Red & White FORever!!!

Ag Classrooms and Shop::
A key component to improving the safety of PHS students is integrating the ag classrooms into the high school building, eliminating the need to cross the parking area to attend classes. The proposed layout includes 2 classrooms with a central office for ag instructors. The attached shop area is designed with proper ventilation systems and equipment to allow students hands on experience in welding and mechanical skills. Agriculture education is a vital part of our schools overall education and one that our community takes great pride in! Your vote FOR the bond proposal will provide opportunities for the continued success of our ag program!

Home Economics::
Possibly one of the most important life skills programs at PHS operates out of a small kitchen set-up, laundry closet and sewing stations. The lack of adequate electrical outlets requires the use of extension cords and power strips, and the limited kitchen space and storage restricts the students hands on learning experience.
The proposed bond issue will provide multiple cooking stations, a laundry room, storage closet, and plenty of space and outlets for sewing machines or other needs of the program.
Give our students the benefit of basic life skills as they move beyond PHS! Vote FOR the bond proposal on April 2nd!

The current library at PHS is a modified classroom with a small storage closet attached. Students access the room through an outside entrance in the west wing of the high school.
Your vote FOR the upcoming school bond will result in a new library within the enclosed high school, complete with storage for student Chromebooks, text books, a librarian office and adequate space for our students educational needs.

PHS students currently have lunch in a makeshift classroom, in the main building with their teachers permission, or an open breezeway.
Passage of the school bond will provide a 3,330 square foot commons area for lunch, class/group meetings or community activities.
