New Testament Church Pioneers Crown Students travel as New Testament Church Pioneers—across the U.S. or around the world. (templebaptistchurch.com).

They partner with Crown alumni who have started 500+ churches globally to experience church planting and the mission field firsthand while sharing the Gospel. New Testament Church Pioneers is a student program of The Crown College (thecrowncollege.edu) which is under the ministry of Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee. 🇬🇭 NTCP: GHANA UPDATE 🇬🇭

The time in Ghana has flown by, and we are truly thankful to the Lord for all He has done.

During the final week, we had the opportunity to experience Kajetia Market in Kumasi, a city of around 4 million people, where we have spent the past weeks. Please pray for God’s work in this city!

On Tuesday, we fellowshipped with the young adults from several churches. Praising the Lord in song, eating Ghanaian food, and playing a game together were some sweet memories. They were so patient and kind in welcoming us and helping us learn their culture.

Please keep the Sommer family and Biblical Baptist Church in prayer as they follow the Lord Jesus in Kumasi, Ghana. We are truly thankful for their investment in our lives and for all those who have prayed for us throughout this trip!

🇬🇭 NTCP: GHANA UPDATE 🇬🇭

The New Testament Church Pioneers were blessed to travel to Cape Coast this week and be in God’s beautiful creation. It was a joy to fellowship with believers there and hear the Word of God preached!

The body of believers at Biblical Baptist Church have welcomed and encouraged us in the Lord, and we thank Him for the opportunity to teach Sunday School and be a part of the ladies afternoon class.

We praise the Lord for visitors attending the Bible study at the new church plant in Deduako and are praying for this work as God continues to give the increase!

Please pray for the young adult fellowship this Tuesday and safety as we travel at the end of this week!

Elmina Castle is a sobering yet important part of the history of the nation of Ghana. It is here that millions of Africans died and passed through the “Door of No Return” to face inhumane slavery.

On Tuesday, an excellent guide led us through the castle and reminded us that slavery still exists in the world today, yet we have a choice.

After the tour, we sang “Amazing Grace” by John Newton to remember the grace that God gave in his life and offers to the whole world.

The week was spent preparing the church for VBS, passing out flyers with church members, going out to lunch with a church family, and participating in the children’s Wednesday night Bible class.
