Brumley & Sons Music Publishers and promoters of the songs and history of Albert E. Brumley, author of "I'll Fly Away", "Turn Your Radio On" and 800+ great songs.

We hope you will enjoy learning more about us and the legacy of Albert E. Brumley, one of the greatest songwriters of our time. Songs like "I'll Fly Away", "Turn Your Radio On", "I'll Meet You In The Morning", "He Set Me Free" and a host of others have long been favorites of many people throughout America and around the world. The name Brumley is highly respected in all music fields. People have been singing his songs for decades. It was a desire of Robert (Bob) Brumley to keep alive the songs of his father. Even though Bob is no longer with us, the family still operates the company offices built in the 1940's in Powell, Missouri. We are now in the 3rd generation of the family business going on 100 years. Bob's 2 daughters Elaine and Betsy are excited to keep Brumley Music and their Grandpa Brumley's amazing legacy going on and thriving.

Amanda Taylor at KWTV - NEWS 9 interviewed me about Grandpa writing I’ll Fly Away. We met back at the farm in Oklahoma where Grandpa was picking cotton. We also visited the church where he attended when he was inspired. Thank you to the Farrar family for giving us permission to be in their field.

What started as a desperate prayer in an Oklahoma cotton field became one of the most recorded gospel songs in American history. Now the artist's family is retracing his steps.
