Studio J: Sing Paint Play

Hi. I wanted to check in with all of you about art. I have created some kits where your children can do the art at home. I only have so many of each thing so kits are limited. Some are really interesting with special effects like the green giant leaves, etc.

Happy 4th. Wish it was different but it is what we have. I want to start sharing some crafts to do at home. I know you are all bored.

1. Paint rocks. Kids will do many of these. Just find flat rocks and let them go. It is fun to hide them about the neighborhood for people to find.

2. Firework painting. Paint on toothbrush and flick (best done outside with old clothes on . I liked to always do it in a little swimming pool or box for no mess fun.

3. Our next door neighbors daughter left us a picture and said Happy 4th. Do that. surprise your neighbor.

4. We have 4 kids and they loved Williamsburg. So we created little shops in the backyard, a bit of lumber, etc. and each kid had their own shop. One made beads, one candles, etc. It was a whole summer of fun. Of course back then lots of neighbors involved. But you can do it even just with your own children.One can draw pictures. make currency. Lots of creative fun

Studio J's Easter Bunny is available this week for your event or home visit. The bunny is so sweet and is adorable for pictures. Here she is with some artists you may recognize. pm for a time.

Hello. At this time we will no longer be offering parties or summer camps. I have made a big decision to begin doing therapy again and my office is in Pickerington so it is drive for me.
We will still be doing our enrichment days at school and day care centers as the artists I work with do those.

I also hope some of you will consider offering some of my therapy groups like 1. The Bear Cub Club :saying no to uncomfortable touch and 2. Working through grief with art for adults and children and 3. Divorce Care through art and share for children and adults.
I will offer the times, etc. here. If you wish to offer any of these at your location please PM me.

I read this at NW Macaroni Kids this morning. It was a while ago but it made me smile. A new princess tea party will have to come soon. Wasn't sure how to tag you, but my daughter has had a blast at all the RSVP events and especially had an amazing time winning the mother-daughter Valentine's Day princess tea party spot at Studio J in downtown Powell! I will be at Fun Town Play and Learn Cafe tomorrow to do music. . Can't wait to sing carols with you and your children tomorrow at 10:30. i will have the bells for them to ring and drums to play. Fun for all ages. Please go to Fun Town Play and Learn Cafe to see how to join us.
Some of you have asked if we have any more secret gift shoppe times left. We don't but I have a few items to make left for sale that you can get right after music tomorrow so at 11:00. I have three of the little backpacks left. I can take their hand print and you can get the next day here $20.00 each,,,only 3. if you want the extra decorations on the front it is 25.00. . I have 1 placemat/banner (shown) to put reindeer hand prints on . $15.00 with 2 prints and canvas reindeer are $20.00 for 2 hands. $25.00 for three. (same reindeer on placemat but on canvas to hang up . ) 2 tote bags left . 15.00 each with a handprint. 20.00 with 2. elephants or leopard only.

We have a few more items that need to be delivered. Our artist, Susanna Elf could not complete the items until Friday so they will be delivered later Friday evening.
