Classmates,
There are never the right words during a time of loss of a beloved classmate, friend and fellow Panther.

The class of ‘92 sends our condolences to Chad’s precious and wonderful family. We also send up prayers 🙏🏼 of love, healing ❤️‍🩹 and comfort for the entire family as they mourn the loss of their son, brother, father, uncle and cousin.

Farewell old friend. I hope you arrive to a warm welcome on the other side with open arms and big smiles, just like yours, by old friends, family and God.

Who has interest in having a 30 year class reunion? Please reply back YES or NO.

If you vote “YES” then you are also volunteering to participate in the planning of the reunion. If you vote “NO” that’s cool too. No worries. I just need to know because with COVID I and the Delta Variant venue space has been a bit of a challenge.

Please remember to keep our friend and lady panther, Courtney Wilson, in your thoughts and prayers with the passing of her father, Steve.

If you would like to pay your respects, Steve’s arrangements are as follows;

John Stephan “Steve” Wilson, age 68 of Powell, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from Sears after 30 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Sarah Wilson and brother, Freddie Wilson. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Vicki Wilson; daughters, Courtney (Glenn) Waller, and Ashley Wilson; grandson, Maddox Cordeiro; sister, Nancy Medford and too many dear friends to name. A Gathering of friends will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Weaver Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm. Please join us to celebrate a life well-lived and be sure to share your “Steve” story with us. There’s no question these things are never easy to write and it’s with a heavy heart I extend my deepest condolences to the family of the lovely and talented Sandra “Sandy” Nesbitt. Your legacy will live on for generations. Bless you and God’s speed.

It’s with a heavy heart that I need to inform you that our Powell brother, Jim Addington, passed away on Saturday morning. Please keep Laura, Alden and Mary in your prayers. The arrangements are as follows:

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 15th between 4:30-6:45 p.m. at Emerald Avenue United Methodist Church, 1620 North Central. The memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
