Where: Snow Peak Brewing Company 280 East Water St, Stayton, Oregon 97383

Super casual get together with food cart.
Cost and RSVP to be posted at a later date.

Hello classmates
Since we had a 100 degree day for the picnic last weekend, we are taking a poll on changing the 50th reunion dates to June 10th (suhs class of 78) and June 11th Sunday for the multi class reunion potluck and Stayton Union High School Class of 1978 Multi Class Picnic.
Please leave in the comments if these 2028 dates are better for you to attend the 50th in 2028.

The Stayton Union High School Class of 1978 picnic is this Sunday!! 8/13/2023 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pioneer park, Jordan bridge. The reunion committee has been working hard to get everything planned. Hope to see you all there!
Set up is at 11:30 AM. Reunion picnic starts at noon, goes until 5:00 PM.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING TO THE PICNIC:
Any potluck dish you want to bring. Serving utensils for your dish.
Folding chairs for you and your guests.
Whatever you want to drink, and cups for you and your guests. (we did not pay alcohol permit, so please be discreet if you bring that beverage). 😉
Pay it forward to 50th reunion potluck and picnic payment for you and guests (if not already paid) minium payment is $5.00 per person. Any extra is always helpful. Cash and checks accepted, (make payable to Laurel Russell).
Contact information sheets will be available if you haven't already turned yours in.
Extra money for fundraiser "picnic basket" raffle. Tickets costs are; 1 for $1.00, 6 for $5, 13 for $10, 27 for $20, 70 for $50, 145 for $100. If you plan on getting a large amount of raffle tickets, address return labels work great instead of writing name and phone number down a bunch of times.
Any folding tables you can bring are always helpful.
Any games you want to play (like Horseshoes).
Camera or smartphone to take pictures and post on the multi class reunion potluck and picnic page.
Please remember to take your potluck dish when you leave.

Classmates, the reunion committee has come to the conclusion that the 45th class reunion at the Golf Course will NOT be held August 12th, 2023, due to the late start that we got this year in organizing, as well as finding a venue that could accommodate our smaller group, and within a reasonable price range. We decided instead, to focus our energy on our next reunion, which will be our 50th in August, 2028!!
Instead of the golf course event on Aug 12th, we will combine the two events into one event on Aug 13th at the multi class reunion potluck and picnic held at Jordan bridge in Pioneer Park. This event will include all of the class of 1978, and everyone else from SUHS, and Regis High school. This allows everyone to attend for a bigger, relaxing get together!
