Hello Ranch House Families!

As we head into our final month of our Summer Program, here are a few important reminders:

📅 Program Closure

Ranch House will be CLOSED August 3–7 while we participate in the Crook County Fair & Livestock Auction.

If you’re attending the fair, please stop by and say hello! The Crook County Fair is always FREE and family-friendly. We would love to see our Ranch House families supporting our local community and our 4-H kids!

As a reminder, all upcoming closures have been posted for 90+ days and can be found:

* Above our sign-in/sign-out sheet in the preschool room
* On our Ranch House Early Learning page

🌟 Summer Kids Night

Friday, August 21 | 4:00–8:00 PM

Join us for our final Summer Kids Night!

Ranch House will close at our normal time of 2:30 PM and reopen at 4:00 PM for an evening of fun with our Ranch House friends as we celebrate the end of summer.

Cost: $100 per family (includes siblings)

Dinner, dessert, crafts, a movie, and more are included!
Theme to be announced.

🥪 Lunch & Snack Program Ending

August will be the final month of our summer lunch and snack program.

Beginning in September, families will return to providing:

* A packed lunch and snacks each day.

Please be sure all lunches are ready to eat and include an ice pack if needed.

Don’t miss out on this year’s Ranch House Annual Photo Book! Filled with memories from throughout the school year, it’s the perfect keepsake to look back on all the fun, friendships, and adventures.

I wanted to address an ongoing issue we have been having with rock throwing. We have a strict no rock throwing rule, yet rocks continue to be thrown despite daily reminders and discussions about playground safety.

Unfortunately, children, parents, vehicles, playground equipment, and even our animals have been hit by rocks. This is a serious safety concern and is not acceptable.

I am asking that you please take a few minutes to talk with your child about making safe choices, listening to directions, and respecting people, animals, and property.

📢 Important Program update & Reminder

Hi families! I wanted to share an important reminder regarding enrollment and tuition policies here at Ranch House.

My policies have been in place since the beginning and are designed to ensure consistency for every family enrolled in the program.

• Drop-in care is intended to be a supplement to regular enrollment, not a replacement for it. It is available for families who need to add an occasional day of care, as space allows.

• I do not offer pay-by-the-day care in place of monthly enrollment. My day to day would be significantly inconsistent and I can not run a business like that.

• I do not offer individualized or personalized childcare arrangements similar to nanny services. My program operates on consistent monthly enrollment so that I can provide dependable, high-quality care for every child.

• Tuition reserves your child’s enrollment space and is due in full on the first of each month, regardless of attendance, including vacations, illnesses, or other absences. Your payment secures your child’s spot—not the number of days attended.

If you’re looking for a schedule where you only pay for the days your child attends, my program may not be the best fit. A nanny or another individualized childcare arrangement would likely better meet those needs.

Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and respect for these policies. They allow me to operate a stable, reliable program while providing the best possible experience for all of the children and families I serve. ❤️
