Meadowbrook families, please join us this Friday, June 8 from 5-7 in the MPR to say thank you and good luck to our Proud Principal for all of his years of dedication and service. This is a very casual, come and go, event that is open to present and past families that would like to come to wish Dr. Carrillo well so spread the word. Light refreshments will be served.

Our PTSA was awarded a silver level membership award by Ninth District last night. Congratulations to Jen Boles and everyone that helped increase our membership to 600 plus this year! Membership matters!

WE WANT YOUR STUFF ON FRIDAY! Don't forget to drop off your donations of sellable items for our garage sale tomorrow (Friday) after school from 2:15 - 3:45 in the parking lot. Only two more Fridays till our big sale on 5/13!

Thank you so much to all the professionals that spent the morning sharing what they do with the kids of Meadowbrook! It was a packed house with lots of good questions being asked. Remember to turn in your raffle tickets in to Carmen Aguilar in Room 128 for some exciting prizes! Special thanks to Kim Floyd, Carmen Aguilar and the Mustang Leaders for all you did to make this a great event!

We have great Robotics news to share regarding some PUSD students from Meadowbrook Middle School (MBMS) and Westview High School. Last Monday, FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) Team Inspiration was invited to compete at the FTC World Championship in Houston next month. It is the highest honor a FTC robotics team can achieve (of course beside winning the championship).

The students are very excited to represent San Diego.

If you can, please spread the word about this amazing group of PUSD students. This achievement is even more profound since they are a rookie team. On their late start days, they did robotics outreach at Morning Creek ES, Shoal Creek ES, and Canyon View ES to promote STEM & FIRST and to recruit future 6th graders to MBMS.
