Art Start Art Classes and Camps

It's been 3 1/2 since I stopped teaching art. I miss those kids and their lovely feedback!

As a result of COVID-19, Art Start Art Classes and Camps are permanently canceled. It is with great sadness that I have decided to stop teaching Art Start Art Camps. I am heartbroken knowing how many children always looked forward to our camp adventures every summer. I will miss you!

The City of Poway has worked to find other art instructors to offer inspiring camps and classes. Check out their programs! I hope you'll join one of those alternatives in Poway and have a fun and CREATIVE summer!

These are 2 drawings I did when I was 12. I have come a long way since my oval heads and right angle noses. 🙂 If you really love doing something and have a dream, don’t let anyone tell you that you aren’t good enough. With practice, discipline, and desire you can become great at anything you truly have a passion for. There’s a reason for that spark inside of you and it will only lead you towards more fulfillment and happiness.🌟

Summer Camp registrations start on Tuesday! I plan to stay well and start my first week of Art Start Art Camps July 13 providing the Covid-19 crisis is over. Hope to see you all there this summer!

Hi families! I hope you all are finding wonderful ways to entertain yourselves while isolating.
Here is a video tutorial I think some of you would like. It should work well with most types of watercolors. You would need a round brush with good point and some heavy paper (cardstock?) if you don't have watercolor paper.
