Spring is in the air! 🌱 We've had an amazing week packed with exciting activities! From painting succulent pots to learning about flower parts, and even matching butterfly wings, every moment has been a delight! 🌺

Food pyramid: 🍓🧀🥕 We discovered the various food groups: protein, dairy, grains, fruits, and veggies. The kids created their own balanced meal plates. They earned stickers on their Food chart for making nutritious choices. We also used alphabet cards featuring diverse foods to promote cultural awareness.

Birds week 🦜🪺: This week we learned about life cycle of a bird, characteristics of a bird, different kinds of birds and their sounds, we used our pretend binoculars for bird watching, and we painted our bird house 🏠,

Valentines Week 😍: For this special week, we were busy singing hugs and kisses 😘 song, learning new vocabulary about valentines, decorating our bag 🛍️, making valentines card 💌 for our friends and family, special valentine lunch party 🍽️and last but not the least giving out Valentine treats 🍭🍬🪀 to friends.

This week we talked about birds! Different names of birds 🦅🦉🦃🐧, life cycle of a goose🪿and chickens 🪺🐣🐥🐔, parts of a bird, and matched some beautiful feathers.🪶

We had so much fun this Pumpkin week!🎃 My students were cleaning 🧽, washing🫧 and painted 🎨 the pumpkins. For our arts and crafts we made our own pumpkin and labeled the parts such as stem, skin, pulp, seeds and strands.

Insect week is here!🐞🐜🦗🐝 The children loved learning about names of the multiple insects, their parts and characteristics as well. We also enjoyed making our own insects and fossil insects with play dough. 🦋🪲🪰
