At Universidad de las Américas - Park (UDLA) we ran a FIRST Tech Challenge Scrimmage using the offical FIRST scoring software with STEAMUP Ecuador , World Skills Ecuador, and the Unidad de Innovación Tecnológica (UDLA) .udla . It was amazing to see all the students and schools excited and loving Robotics! A huge success! A huge shout out to Spyder that ran the workshop and the scrimmage.
Team Spyder, PHS SWENext and PHS Women in STEM has partnered with STEAMUP Ecuador , World Skills Ecuador, and the Unidad de Innovación Tecnológica (UDLA) .udla to educate school students in STEM in Ecuador. We used FIRST Tech Challenge robots (REV) for training. We have supported schools since 2022 year by donating 100 mBot robots for their success in STEM.
Our goal is to grow FTC teams in Paraguay and get more girls interested in STEM worldwide.

Today we ran a FIRST Tech Challenge Build Workshop for schools and clubs at the Universidad de las Américas - Park (UDLA). This is the first of it's kind in Quito, Ecuador as the following years we used mBots, and for this year making that transition to FTC using REV Robotics platform.

FLASH BACK: On 9/27/25, Team Spyder presented the Green Machine T-shirt canon in the Miramar Airshow, which was held at the Marine Corps Air Station in Miramar, San Diego. Our booth was provided by Incose, who invited us to host our T-shirt Cannon for the event attendees.
We were glad to reach hundreds of youth at this event, as we are able to spread STEM and the Word of FIRST.
A warm thank you to Incose for inviting us to advertise robotics and for providing us with a booth.
