Our Biomes PBL has officially entered โcrunch time,โ and students are bringing together weeks of research, creativity, and collaboration in exciting ways!
As they prepare for their upcoming biome musical performance, students have been using ELA time to practice reading lines fluently and confidently while strengthening teamwork, speaking skills, and creativity through theater integration. Theyโve also been collaborating on a large-scale biome map, presenting their biome dioramas for peer feedback, and adding final touches to their projects and adaptation facts.
Along the way, students explored climatograms, weather vs. climate, plant and animal adaptations, geography, and ecosystemsโtransforming their research into engaging presentations designed to teach others about Earthโs diverse biomes. It has been incredible watching students synthesize science, literacy, geography, theater, music, art, and collaboration into one meaningful interdisciplinary project. ๐ฟ๐ญ
