CKA is a school program that is committed to the Suquamish Tribe‘s mission of providing education that supports lifelong learning through:
• Respecting diversity and ancestral heritage through acquisition of foundational knowledge, leadership, accountability, and critical thinking skills;
• Providing students opportunities to acquire and practice leadership skills, integrity, honesty, teamwork, c

ompassion, and strong communication skills;
• Building a strong sense of belonging within community through understanding differing tribal values, and beliefs within community, and gaining understanding of self-identity as a member of a greater community;
• Promoting and supporting students’ understanding of citizenship within communities, as well as inter-dependency amongst all individuals leading to a lifetime of teamwork and workmanship.
