There’s nothing like outdoor play to help preschoolers learn, grow, and thrive! From climbing and sliding to running and exploring, playground time provides endless opportunities for development.

Outdoor play helps children:

🌟 Practice sharing, teamwork, and social skills

Every climb to the top of the playground, every game with friends, and every moment spent exploring helps children develop important skills that support lifelong learning.

In PreK, little hands are hard at work building big skills! ✂️✨ Through cutting and gluing activities, children are strengthening fine motor muscles, developing pre-writing skills, and learning coordination and control—all while expressing creativity and having fun. Every snip and stick is a step toward confident writers!

Little hands, big learning! When toddlers engage in puzzle matching activities, they're building important skills while having fun.

Puzzle matching helps children:

Circle time is more than just sitting together—it's a time for children to become active participants in their own learning! 🌟

Our toddlers are building early literacy skills through letter recognition activities while practicing listening, communication, and confidence in a group setting. By engaging with songs, discussions, and hands-on learning experiences, children develop a strong foundation for future reading and learning success.

Every time a child points out a letter, answers a question, or joins in a group activity, they are strengthening important cognitive, language, and social-emotional skills. We love watching our little learners grow through meaningful, interactive circle time experiences! 📚🔤💙

☀️🌈 Hello, Summer! June at Community Family Development 🌈☀️

Summer fun is officially underway at Community Family Development! Our classrooms are buzzing with excitement as children explore, learn, and grow through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, creative art projects, sensory play, water fun, literacy experiences, and so much more.

From our curious infants and energetic toddlers to our preschool, pre-K, and school-age learners, every child is building friendships, discovering new interests, and creating lasting memories. We’re also excited to partner with families through engaging activities that encourage learning and connection at home and in our community.

Thank you to our amazing families and staff for making this summer season so special. We can’t wait to share all the smiles, milestones, and adventures ahead!
