📸 Photography Week! 📸
We had a picture-perfect week exploring various ways to create photography and media. We designed our own picture frames to fill with different memories, created a self-portrait, learned to put the pieces of a puzzle back together to create an image that ended up being ourselves. We learned to work together to add details to pictures to help tell a story.

Next week is our final week of summer camp and we will turn into NINJA WARRIORS!

Thank you Two By Two Animal Haven for visiting today!
We had the best time today! Our friends got the chance to get up close and personal with some amazing animals while learning fun facts about them!

It was such a fun hands-on experience that brought learning to life. We loved seeing all the excitement, curiosity and smiles!

Today we received heartbreaking news about one of our former Country Grove students. 💔

He was diagnosed with brain cancer last year and, after being in remission for a period of time, we learned today that his cancer has returned and is aggressive.

He will always be a part of the Country Grove family, and our hearts are with him and his family as they face this incredibly difficult journey. ❤️

✨🏰 Once Upon a Disney Week! 🏰✨

We added a little extra magic to our Disney Week by inviting our children AND teachers to dress up as some of their favorite Disney characters! 💫

From Fairy Godmothers 🪄✨ to Boo from Monsters, Inc. 💜, we had a little bit of Disney magic everywhere we looked! 🏰🌈

And even Ms. Sam and Ms. Sarah & her family got to experience some extra Disney magic—from Disney World! 🏰✨ Talk about a magical way to celebrate Disney Week!

Our week was filled with curiosity, creativity and LOTS of experimenting! Our little scientists put on their thinking caps and explored a new science experiment every day. From making predictions and observing changes to asking question and discovering "why". We had so much fun learning through hands-on experiences.

And what better way to end our week of science than with a cookie experiment!
We made predictions about which cookies would sink or float and then put them to test.

Who knew science could be so delicious?!

💦🎈Happy National Water Balloon Day! 💦🎈
We had the BEST time celebrating! Our friends cooled off, got a little silly and made plenty of summer memories with an afternoon full of water balloon fun!

From tossing and catching to trying our best to stay dry (spoiler alert: it didn't work! 😂), there were plenty of smiles, laughs and splashes all around!

Azriel has truly stood out by showing what it means to be a kind friend and always going above and beyond. Whether she's lending a helping hand, encouraging others, or leading by example, she makes our camp community a brighter place every day!

Yesterday was National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and of course we couldn't let it pass without celebrating! 🍪

Learning doesn't always happen through worksheets or a finished craft. It happens when children discover colors or shapes by pointing out things within their classroom.
When we focus on the process, we celebrate curiosity, creativity, and the confidence that grows from trying something new.
The most meaningful learning opportunities aren't always what the children take home-it's what they carry with them long after the activity is over.

Kindness is the best kind of currency! 💙
Our school-age campers put their creativity to work by making special "money" that was candy themed for our infant room! In return our youngest friends "high fived" the campers to show just how much they appreciated the gesture.
