What is your favorite book and why? Sometimes the best thing about a book is how it allows us to connect with those we love.
Our Data Manager, Barbara, said her favorite book is 'Chicka Chicka Boom Boom' because "I read it to my kids and now to my grandkids." Sometimes, it's the little things in life that can turn into lifelong, generational, big things.

Ask a friend and you might be surprised by the answer: What is your favorite book and why?
Our Program Director, Sarah, says: "My favorite book is The Princess Bride by William Goldman, because somehow the book is even better than the movie. It has everything: Fencing, fighting, adventure, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles!"

Want to get to know someone better? Ask them what their favorite book is and why!
Our Orange County Coordinator, Dania, says: "My favorite book is 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde. It's such a great book that highlights mankind's vanity. We read it in high school and I even painted it as part of a final project because I loved it so much."

Next time you're stuck trying to make small talk, ask someone what their favorite book is and why. It's so much more revealing than just asking someone where they are from or what they do for work.
Our bookkeeper, Debbie said: "'Winnie-the-Pooh' by A.A.Milne. Pooh a silly bear who embraces inclusiveness. Each of his friends in the Hundred Acre Woods have different character traits. Christopher Robin is laid back, Tigger high maintenance, Piglet friendly, Rabbit practical, Eeyore negative, Roo adventurace, Kanga caring. The book shows everyone can get along and live happily even though they're different, as long as you show respect. I love reading this to my grandchildren!"
