This year's Crego lecture will be delivered by Betsey Stevenson (U. Michigan) on April 20th, 5 pm, Taylor Hall 203. Dr. Stevenson's research focuses on women's labor market experiences and the economic forces affecting today's families. The lecture is open to the public.

What Happened to 90 Million Acres of Native American Land? - Vassar Stories - Admissions - Vassar College
As a result of the Dawes Act of 1887, 90 million acres of Native American reservation lands in the West were sold to non-Indians. Ford scholar Courtney Geiss ’18 is researching federal records to study the role played by the federal agents who enforced the law.
