Movement 🤸🏽♂️! Preschool is the time where we see important gross motor skills such as running, jumping, walking, climbing, balance and strength emerge. We foster this development at JCP through numerous movement activities - gymnastics, dance, yoga and of course through play. Our classroom is equipped with a gymnastics mat, balance beam, crawl tunnel and dance ribbons all which promote and make practicing gross motor movements so much fun!

Blocks are a staple in any preschool classroom. At JCP we have classic wooden blocks, foam blocks, legos, manga tiles and bristle blocks just to name a few! Block play promotes problem solving, testing cause and effect, mathematical concepts such as measurement, spatial awareness, creativity and much much more.
