This weekend as you're out shopping, headed to the beach, and enjoying the cookouts, take time to remember those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for this country that we live in. Every year we celebrate those that have lost their lives in the line of duty, fighting for our freedom.

As we remember our fallen heroes today, I'd like to take a moment to celebrate Corey G Ingram for all that he's done for this country and for those that he loves. Thank you for fighting for us. Thank you for the good times and endless laughs. Thank you for the love and respect you have for those you hold dearly. Thank you for the impact you've made on your community. Thank you for your service.

We will continue to make sure your memory and legacy lives on forever. ❤️⚓️

Tabling at tonight PHS basketball game to raise awareness for the Corey G Ingram Memorial Scholarship!!

Today the Connecticut Fallen Heroes Foundation remembered Corey along with many other brave service men and women who gave their lives to protect our country.

They hosted Senator Blumenthal who gave an inspiring speech to families of lost veterans. Later on in the day they did the ceremonial dove release to honor Corey, his ship mates, and several other veterans lost too soon. Here are some pictures from today, it was a beautiful and emotional day!

Last weekend, on the 4th anniversary of Corey’s passing, we hosted our 3rd Golf Tournament in his honor! It was a beautiful day and we appreciate all the friends and family who came from far and near to support the cause. Here are some pictures of the day. The Corey G. Ingram Memorial Scholarship was created in honor of our beloved hero Corey Ingram. Corey was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. He graduated from Poughkeepsie High School in 2006 before attending Dutchess Community College. After a few semesters at DCC, Corey joined the US Navy where he served for over 8 years before making the ultimate sacrifice in August of 2017.

To honor Corey and give back to the community he loved dearly, the Ingram family has created a scholarship in his name which is awarded every year to Poughkeepsie High School seniors to help them pay for post secondary schooling (college, university, trade schools, etc). Since 2018, Corey's scholarship has been awarded to several PHS students. We hope this scholarship will help carry on his legacy and may the memories of him live on forever.
