BUS TRIP from Pottsville to NYC.

There may have a few openings for a Bus Trip to NYC on Wednesday, December 28th. Free day in city to experience the holiday season in the big Apple! Leaving Pottsville at 7:30 am. Addional pick-up in Hamburg. Leaving NYC at 8:30 pm. DM Spotlight Kidz or Sandy Kost-Sterner.

Missing all our students very much and hope that 2021 will find us back together in person much more than the previous year. Stay positive! ❤️

THROWBACK THURSDAY: “The only thing better than singing is more singing.” – Ella Fitzgerald. Singing with friends is also pretty great and our “Magical Memories-A tribute the magic of Disney” has always been a favorite of ours. This throwback was from our 2015 and favorite Disney tunes were enjoyed by all!

It is with sadness but with true concern for our students and their families to announce that Pottsville GTC Theater Program will not be holding our annual Summer Camp Production. From LION KING to shows such as ANNIE and ALADDIN which we have done in the past as well as other fun camps, we were still holding out hope of making this year’s camp happen. However, with the per square foot requirements on the number of people allowed inside a building or 25 person limit (including staff & crew) which we surpass either way, we feel that our students safety is of utmost importance. In addition, we wouldn’t be able to allow for the actual productions as we would not be able to have our usual large audiences due to those same square foot requirements.

We did look at outdoor possibilities but with the social distance requirements, masks and uncertainty about weather the day of performances plus the continuing rise of the virus, we have decided against it.

We are still continuing to offer free zoom classes and will also offer other types of camp experiences both virtual and also in person with small groups. Contact us for further information on how your children can get involved!

It was four years ago this week that we hosted this summer camp production of LION KING, Kids! While the pandemic has changed plans to have a full camp in person with a production, Pottsville GTC Theater Program has some exciting summer programs coming up soon for ages 4-17. Our Spotlight Kidz member Madeline is entered in a National High School singing competition with Broadway World and needs your help! Please go to the link below and vote for her! The first round is voting. Then the top ten get judged.

If she gets enough votes, she is able to move onto the next round for a chance to win $1000 for a charity of her choice as well as some awesome opportunities! Your vote and support would be greatly appreciated!
