Teacher Appreciation - Day 5! Dallas Fries and Ice Cream.

Thank you to our phenomenal PTA (still accepting donations to help with today’s event) for sponsoring our teacher appreciation lunch from Dallas Fries. Teachers and all staff were treated to fries, chicken tenders, and pierogis as well as ice cream from Coventry Ice Cream at Laurel Locks for dessert! (We had special help today from Brandon and Brielle - our principals for the day!)

While, officially, this ends Teacher Appreciation week, we would ask that if a special teacher has impacted your student, please reach out and let them know! Comments below will also be shared. Thank you for trusting us with your kiddos. ❤️❤️❤️

Teacher Appreciation - Day 4!

Thank you to Coventry Ice Cream Parlor at Laurel Locks for partnering with us to provide ice cream for our colleagues! We had “build your own sundaes” coupled with brownies and chocolate chip cookies as a special treat for all of our valuable teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff.

Mrs. Jennifer Scott — Adult Advocate of the Year for the PA Assoc for Middle Level Education!

Mrs Scott was recognized today for being selected as the Adult Advocate of the Year for her unwavering support and advocacy of our students, commitment to education over 20 years, and her dedication to volunteering (and encouraging it in our students) in the community. She is amazing and we are incredibly proud of her! Thank you to our colleague, Dana Breeden for nominating Mrs. Scott!

OJRMS Teacher Appreciation Shoutouts!

We gave students - selected at random - some bookmarks with some superlatives. Students had to decide in the moment which teacher met the trait and off we went to deliver to the teacher. They never saw it coming! We are so fortunate to work with amazing students and amazing teachers each and every day!

Teacher Appreciation - Day 2!

Our entire staff was treated to lunch and a cupcake from Dixie Picnics! It was fabulous way to spend a few minutes breaking bread and enjoying our colleagues - without thinking about packing lunch! Thank you to our Admin Prof. Sue White for all of her work coordinating today’s lunch.

Our teachers were shown a little love today with a candy, pretzels, and popcorn bar. We are so grateful we get to share their workspace and the work they do with our Wildcats every single day!

Special thank you to Flagship Premium Cinemas on Rte. 724 for their very generous donation of popcorn to make today’s treat super delightful!
