๐ŸšŒ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ“šFIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 2026-2027! ๐Ÿ“š๐ŸŽ’๐ŸšŒ

The music was playing ๐ŸŽถ, the smiles were everywhere, and the excitement was in the air as our students in grades Kโ€“8 arrived for the FIRST DAY of school at Saint Aloysius Parish School! ๐Ÿซ

And who was there to welcome them?! โš”๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’› BIG AL! Our Saint Aloysius mascot was ready to greet our students, pose for pictures ๐Ÿ“ธ, give out high-fives ๐Ÿ™Œ, and kick off the school year with plenty of Knight Pride! โš”๏ธ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

A HUGE THANK YOU to Michael Pomponio for bringing Big Al to life and helping make the first morning of school so much fun!๐Ÿคฉ

Our students were also welcomed by Principal Mrs. Erin Zajkowski, Parochial Administrator Father Wesly, and our wonderful teachers and staff! ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ Their warm smiles and enthusiasm helped make the first day extra special.

โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŽจ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿฆ What a SUMMER it has been at Saint Aloysius Summer Camp! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’›

As camp comes to a close, our campers packed in plenty of fun and adventure! From movies ๐ŸŽฌ and talent shows ๐ŸŽค to exploring the circus ๐ŸŽช, celebrating the Olympics ๐Ÿ…, and taking an underwater adventure ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ , there was never a dull moment!

Our campers spent their days creating, crafting, painting, gluing, cutting, coloring and building right up until the very end! ๐ŸŽจโœ‚๏ธ๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ When they werenโ€™t creating, they were making a splash with pool days, water balloons and outdoor water fun! ๐Ÿ’ฆโ˜€๏ธ

There was plenty of action on the playground too...tag, kickball, wiffle ball, scooters and even musical hula hoops! ๐Ÿ›ดโšพ๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธโญ•๏ธ (Mrs. DeMichaelโ€™s favorite! ๐Ÿ˜‰)

๐Ÿš”๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ One of the biggest highlights was a special visit from Officer Ortiz of the Pennsylvania State Police! Our campers had the chance to explore police gear, climb inside a patrol car, learn when to call 911, and even turn on the SIREN and speak through the loudspeaker! ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ“ข What an unforgettable experience!

We began our Faculty and Staff Orientation in the most beautiful way ... gathered together in faith for Mass at Saint Aloysius Church โ›ช with Father Wesly, who blessed us and shared words of encouragement reminding us that Jesus is our first and greatest teacher. His message was the perfect way to begin a year centered on faith, learning, and community. ๐Ÿ™

Following Mass, our faculty and staff gathered for a nice breakfast reception followed by a special group photo ๐Ÿ“ธ in front of our beautiful church and the original Saint Aloysius Parish School building ... a wonderful reminder of the rich history and traditions that continue to guide us today. ๐Ÿซ

Our staff was treated to a delicious lunch ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ thanks to Apryll and Jason Ware for coordinating everything and helping make the day so special! ๐Ÿ’™

We enjoyed informative and inspiring presentations from our Principal, Mrs. Zajkowski, in addition to other members of our team as we prepared for another amazing year ahead!

โ˜• ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿง‡ A special thank you to Jukebox Cafรฉ and our Home & School Association for providing a DELICIOUS breakfast for our teachers on day two! We are so grateful for your generosity and support! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Home & School also provided our four new homerooms with LifeVac choking rescue devices โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน, adding another layer of safety and preparedness for our students and staff.

๐ŸŽWe canโ€™t wait for everyone to see our incredible new pavilion, beautifully incorporated into our existing playground space ๐Ÿ› ... a wonderful gift from our Home & School Association that will be enjoyed by our students for years to come!

How lucky are we to have such an incredible summer maintenance crew! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Mr. Mike, Mr. Dan, Mr. Jeff, Ethan, Brayden, Michael, Nolan and Levon worked tirelessly all summer long to make sure our school was ready to welcome everyone back for a new school year. From fixing, cleaning, painting, moving, building, buffing and waxing all of our floors, and tackling whatever needed to be done...you name it, they did it! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

They worked incredibly hard, but they also made sure to take some time to have a little fun and celebrate along the way! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ›

Saint Aloysius Parish School is proud to announce that it has once again been recognized by the Office of Catholic Elementary Education as a School of Distinction for Growth! ๐Ÿ“š

This prestigious honor recognizes the exceptional academic growth of our students as measured by year-over-year performance on the Normal Curve Equivalent (NCE) scale. To earn this distinction, at least 80% of classes at every tested grade level had to demonstrate measurable growth in every content area...a remarkable accomplishment that reflects the dedication of our outstanding teachers, the hard work of our students, and the unwavering support of our families. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’›

Saint Aloysius Summer Camp wrapped up two unforgettable weeks filled with creativity, laughter, and nonstop fun! โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŽช๐ŸŽ„
Week 5 brought Christmas in July, where campers cooled off by making their own "snow," decorated incredible gingerbread houses, and celebrated with festive Santa and reindeer games! โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ… Every project showcased their imagination and creativity.

This past week, the big top came to town for Circus Week! ๐ŸŽช๐Ÿฆ Campers created adorable circus-themed crafts, including painted lions, colorful clown art, and finger puppets...with a few even putting on their own puppet shows! ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿคน

The fun didn't stop there! Campers enjoyed another exciting trip to the pool with plenty of splashing, sliding, and playground time. ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ’ฆ Back on campus, they had a blast with water balloon games, sidewalk chalk, playground adventures, balancing challenges, scooter races, and even welcomed a beautiful butterfly visitor! ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ’™

What an amazing two weeks of smiles, friendships, and summer memories! The fun isn't over yet...there's still more excitement to come at Saint Als Summer Camp! ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›
