Ready to dive into the 2026–2027 OJR Aquatics Club season? First things first…we need to see those skills in action! 👀🏊

🆕 NEW SWIMMERS & DIVERS:
All new athletes are required to complete water testing before joining OJR Aquatics Club. Our coaches will evaluate current skills, readiness, and the best placement within our program.

🔙 RETURNING PRE-TEAM SWIMMERS:
If you were on Pre-Team during the 2025–2026 season, we’d like to see you too! Coaches will check out all that progress you’ve made and determine placement for the upcoming season. 💪💦

🥽 What to expect:
Come ready to swim and check in at the registration table at the Middle School pool entrance. Testing will vary depending on each athlete’s age, experience, and discipline.

⚠️ One important note: Completing water testing does not guarantee team placement. Placement is based on skill level, readiness, and program availability.

So grab the goggles, find the swimsuit that somehow disappeared even though swim season JUST ended, and we’ll see you at the pool! 😂🥽🌊

Who can carry six swim bags, three folding chairs, and a cooler in a single trip 💪😅

Who proudly wear team gear every weekend 👕, volunteer whenever needed 🙌, and somehow become experts in splits, strokes, and relay exchanges overnight 📋🏊‍♂️

Thank you for the early alarms ⏰, the long meet days 🌞, the endless encouragement 📣, and for being the biggest fans in the stands.

Looking for a great summer job or a way to build valuable skills? The Owen J. Roberts Aquatic Department is hosting an upcoming Lifeguard Certification Class—and there are still spots available!

📍 Location: Middle School Pool
📅 Dates & Times:
• Friday, May 1: 5:30–9:30 PM
• Saturday, May 2: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Sunday, May 3: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

👥 Who can join?
Participants must be at least 15 years old

💡 This is a great opportunity for teens (and anyone eligible!) to gain certification, confidence, and potentially land a summer lifeguarding job.

🏊‍♂️ OJR Aquatics Awards Pickup Update! 🏊‍♀️

It looks like only a handful of families have reached out about picking up awards and gifts so far (we promise they’re real and not imaginary trophies 🏆😅). To keep things simple, we’re going to consolidate pickup to one evening at the middle school:

🏊‍♀️💦 That’s a Wrap on an Awesome Season! 💦🏊‍♂️

What a season! We saw so many great swims and dives, tons of personal bests, and a whole lot of athletes who proved that early morning practices and endless laps actually pay off. We are incredibly proud of all of our swimmers and divers and the hard work they put in all season long! 👏🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

We also held our election, and the results are in! All proposed bylaw revisions were approved (thank you to everyone who voted!), and we’re excited to introduce the 2026–2027 Board of Directors:
