Due to roof repairs, our scheduled Public Observing Sessions and the Fox Park Star Party are cancelled until further notice. We will announce our new schedule at a later date. Thanks for all the support!

We are planning to set up some telescopes outside the observatory tonight, Saturday, July 25th, starting at 9:30. While we cannot open the roof, we will have telescopes set up outside and the observatory will be open for tours. Once again, the moon will be the main traction and we'll have quite a few other objects to look at. Join us if you can!

We will be hosting a public observing session starting at 930 pm tonight. Our facility is still undergoing repairs so while we can not role the roof off, we will have telescopes set up outside to enjoy the views. The moon will be the star of the show tonight among many other objects. Join us if you can!

UPDATE: Due to Consumer's planned power outage for the night of 7/11, we will be canceling our public observing night as the observatory will not have power. Tonight, 7/10, is not looking the best but we are out here if anyone wants to talk astronomy, telescopes, etc.

We will be open both Friday and Saturday (7/10-11) starting at 930pm for Public Observing. Due to some repairs, we will not be rolling the roof off for the next few observing sessions but we will have telescopes set up outside and the observatory will be open for tours, etc. Come on out and enjoy some views of the summer skies with us!

It's public observing weekend at the observatory again and the weather looks to be cooperating! We will be open both tonight (6/26) and tomorrow night (6/27) starting at 930pm. The moon will be the main attraction this weekend along with some of the brighter objects visible this time of the year. Join us if you can!

Thanks to the Girl Scout troop and everyone else that visited last night for a great evening of observing!

We will be open again tonight, 6/13, starting at 930. The forecast does not look great for the entire night but we should be able to get a look at Venus and Jupiter before they set and/or the clouds come in. Thanks for the support!
