Fox Park Observatory

Looks like the weather is not going to cooperate with us for tonight's viewing. So we will be canceling Friday night.

Tomorrow looks promising let's hope for the best. We will be at Observatory tomorrow night to give tours and answer questions.

Hey all you stargazers, public viewing weekend at Fox Park Observatory is coming up this Friday, Oct. 16, and Saturday, Oct. 17, from 7:30-10:30 p.m. We will be set up outside the observatory due to a non-functioning roof, so dress warmly. If the weather is uncooperative, we will post a cancellation. On Saturday the 17th, we will be there if it rains to give tours of the observatory and discuss astronomy and answer questions.

Stop on out and get a view of the fall night sky.

UPDATE: Due to Consumer's planned power outage for the night of 7/11, we will be canceling our public observing night as the observatory will not have power. Tonight, 7/10, is not looking the best but we are out here if anyone wants to talk astronomy, telescopes, etc.

We will be open both Friday and Saturday (7/10-11) starting at 930pm for Public Observing. Due to some repairs, we will not be rolling the roof off for the next few observing sessions but we will have telescopes set up outside and the observatory will be open for tours, etc. Come on out and enjoy some views of the summer skies with us!
