Sri Lankan New Year celebrations were held today, May 23, at Brown Adirondack Lodge, Clarkson University, with traditional games, cultural activities, and delicious homemade food shared by everyone. Thank you to all who participated and helped make the day memorable. It was wonderful to celebrate our culture together and enjoy such a fun and lively gathering. Wishing everyone happiness, success, and many more celebrations together ahead 🇱🇰

We are organizing a fundraising event in collaboration with FIA to support the rehabilitation efforts for those affected by the Sri Lankan Ditwa Cyclone disaster.

We will be hosting a food stall at Clarkson University on 9th of December from Noon to 2pm at Student center. We’ll be selling Chicken Biriyani (generously provided by FIA), cutlets, and cake to raise funds. Your support is truly appreciated — whether by helping us organize or simply spreading the word. This is a small but meaningful way we can stand with our country during this difficult time.

We had an incredible time celebrating International Education Week on October 1 at the International Student Center, Clarkson University, where our Sri Lankan community showcased the richness of our culture through batik painting demonstrations, a Ceylon tea tasting with several varieties, postcards featuring major cultural landmarks, a collaborative “paint the map of Sri Lanka” activity, and a curated display of traditional artifacts.

Thank you to everyone who visited, participated, and shared your enthusiasm—your support made the event truly special.

CUSLSA successfully hosted Tropical Evening: Pol Roti Event on Saturday, September 13th at Adirondack Lodge, Clarkson University.
