Seen this in a group today & had to share the perspective not only with my children who are parents but with you in this group .🄹😭

As a grandparent the validity of this picture is so true.

Everything as a young parent seems so rushed, if you can take a moment and think back at when you were the age of your children, where were you?

What were you thinking, who were your friends?

As parents, we may not have all the answers but one piece of advice I can give.

Don't compare your children to others, or even you, they are living in a different world, experiencing life differently. Today life may be different than yours because they are not you.

The best thing you can do is listen and listening means with prayer in your heart to guide you to be the parent they need, they already have friends who will tell them what they want to hear, but not what they need to know to know what is truly good for then when they don't want to hear you, what do you know?

Speak to them on the mistakes you made, how you failed,, and help to ensure your children have good moral and spiritual guidance.

When all their friends are gone, it's you as their parents or even their siblings that will be sitting around that holiday table. Build a relationship now, later is too late.

Make that table full of life truth, never be afraid to talk about real isuess. I.e. God, S*x, Life, death, drugs. The time is ticking and it gets harder with each passing day.

Let Jesus be the core because the devil and his little imps don't care about you or your children and will give their own life talks.

Build strong. characters that build influential people that change the world. And start that real conversation if you don't they will still hear them let them be comfortable talking about anything in front of you.

Build your children up the world is going to tear them apart. Make your table where anything can be said without being criticized for speaking their thoughts. Let your table be filled with laughter even if it starts an argument but let your table be filled with hard truths where everyone is welcome and nothing is held back. Let them know at our family table we value time
