Geneva Day School Encouraging a lifelong love of learning, we provide excellent classes and extraordinary programs for children aged two through kindergarten.

Established in 1965, Geneva Day School is a non-denominational private Preschool and Kindergarten. We provide half and full-day educational programs, with optional extended morning and afternoon care, lunch and enrichment. Daily class operations are the responsibility of degreed teachers, who supervise and direct the activities of teaching assistants, all of whom hold at least 90 hours in Early Childhood Education Training as required by law. We are licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care and are a proud Maryland Green School with gorgeous campus, which is home to a Monarch Butterfly Garden. It is with pride that we do our best to help this endangered species and we hope to inspire others to do the same. Conveniently located in Potomac, Maryland, just a half mile from the Montrose Road exit off I-270, on Seven Locks Road, we encourage you to visit. Nature Center Visits delight. . .

Kindergartners discovered just how much fall means to animals great and small. They discussed hibernation, how animals protect themselves by fueling in fall, and then going into deeper states of rest during the winter.

Meet-and-greet guest animals (from furry to scaled!) illustrated these lessons.

Stop, drop, and roll. . .

Roll out the red carpet for our local fire department!

We LOVE visits from our Montgomery County division and relish lessons both in and out-of-doors with these fire-fighting heroes.

First, we learned about fire-fighting gear and equipment. Then, we learned about fire-fighting responsibilites. Next, we saw demonstrated fire safety techniques (yes, stop, drop, and roll!). Finally, we went outside to discover the power and high engineering of a fire truck.

Hold high your fire hats. . . Here we come to examine a stretcher, the hoses, and a reallllllllly TALL ladder!
