Established in September 1992 by Angela Tranquill, PGDS is certified by the Maryland State Department of Education as a non-public school. PGDS is located in the Parish House of the Potomac United Methodist Church at the intersection of Falls road and South Glen. Potomac Glen Day School began as a one-classroom school filled with 7 three and four year olds. Eight classrooms and 130 + students later, Potomac Glen Day School is wonderful success! The majority of our parents (about 95%) come to us by word of mouth. Although academics are a high priority, its charm comes from the warm community based atmosphere.
