As the school year closes, the Music Boosters Board shares heartfelt thanks to the entire music community. Whether you gave your time, contributed funds, volunteered behind the scenes, or (most meaningfully) showed up for our students' music experiences, you made this year special. 💙💚

We're deeply grateful to our graduating Board parents: Lynn Connors, Jennifer Sprague-Hilderbrand, Orit Almagor and Alisa Weinstein, for their years of dedication, leadership and impact.

We're also excited to welcome new Board members Dominic Benford, Trudi Benford, Shy Izaddoost and Johanna Wolf. Thank you for carrying this work into the year ahead. And to our continuing Board members, Linda Lan and Jodi Chernoff, we so appreciate your ongoing commitment.

A special thank-you goes to Mr. Allal for his Board leadership, as well as to Mr. Sanz and Mr. Albright for their dedication to the success of our student musicians.

Wishing all of Churchill an incredible summer, with special well-wishes to the Class of 2026. We're so proud of all you have accomplished and can't wait to see what comes next.

The Bands closed out the Music Department's performance season on a high note last week, with an outstanding final concert led by Mr. Allal! 🎼✨

Our students showcased not only their talent, but also their teamwork, discipline and dedication they’ve built throughout the year. It was a wonderful night celebrating the accomplishments of this incredible group and the music they brought to our school community all season long.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to support the arts at WCHS. Your encouragement helps our students thrive both on and off the stage.

Bravo to all of our incredible Orchestra students for a wonderful Spring Orchestra Concert last week with Mr. Sanz! 🎻🌸

The evening was filled with beautiful music, hard work and unforgettable performances that showcased the talent and dedication of our student musicians. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our orchestra program. Your encouragement means so much to our students and staff.

A special thanks goes to Mr. Sanz for his commitment to inspiring our musicians each day. Congratulations to everyone on a fantastic concert and to our Orchestra Seniors as they take their next big steps! 🎶👏

🎷🎸 There's nothing like a NEXT-GEN JAZZ JAM to kick off Spring performances at ! 🎤🎺

Featured here are Mr. Allal's seriously talented, exuberant and [somewhat] mischievous players, who dazzled with faves like "I've Got Your Under My Skin", "Stormy Weather" and so many more.

Pics to come include a special treat: Mr. Masaki and his Hoover Middle School Jazz Band took center-stage for a few numbers before joining our Churchill musicians. An incredible community-moment for sure.

And why yes... that IS Mr. Allal on alllll those seniors' ties. 👔🤣 Nothing like ending the year right!

We are thrilled to celebrate an incredible achievement: At their recent assessment, Mr. Sanz and his Orchestra Ensembles received SUPERIOR ratings and straight A+ scores from all four judges!

While our orchestra students have consistently earned SUPERIOR ratings and many A+ scores in the past, this year they swept the board with A+ across every ensemble. Even more impressive, this was the first year the ensembles prepared and performed some of the most advanced music on the state list. They rose to the challenge beautifully.

Bravo to Mr. Sanz and all of our talented orchestra students for their hard work, dedication and musical excellence. We are so proud of you! 👏🎶👏
