Dear Apex parents and students,
At this special year of 2022 becoming history, we want to extend our warmest wishes to each Apex Academy family who makes up our community. We truly thank you for entrusting your children to us. One of our most favorite moments is seeing students in classes with smiles. The pride of learning is clear, as well as the joy when they share it with their teachers, and friends. We celebrate the quality learning time and being safe together.
2022 has been a year full of great achievements by our young Apex scholars. They have truly demonstrated their amazing creativity, and potential to be the highest achievers. Ten Apex students from our different writing classes, in grade 2nd to 8th, have won various national writing competitions, or their marvelous stories, poems have been selected multiple times to be published in numerous well known children's literary magazines such as PBS KIDS Writers Contest, Youth Honors Awards by Skipping Stones Magazine, Magic Dragon Magazine, Blue Sage Magazine, Calliope's Collection of Mystical Mayhem, an analogy published with adult writers by Wild Ink Publishing, Twisted Tales Analogy by Young Writers, etc.
One of our fourth grade students, in reading and writing classes, was selected to be a beta reader, to give personal feedback and suggestions for two stories by a famous British author. One of the stories will be filmed by Walt Disney.
Apex Academy continues to strive to become a school focused on premium quality of education, and actively find unique and innovative teaching methods to support and create opportunities that make our students motivated to learn, enjoy learning, develop strong academic skills, and continue to grow each day. We have established Apex Publishing, our own publishing sector, designated to publish our students’ outstanding class work. Twenty-one students are selected to jointly publish two analogies, Our Stories Volume One, and Our Stories Volume Two. These two fabulous analogies have been approved and collected by Montgomery County Public School Libraries in Maryland.
At Apex Academy, we place great value on seeing our students showing continued success and academic progress as they move through their academic journeys here at Apex. Having innovative teaching methods, various creative opportunities, responsible and highly skillful staff and teachers, Apex students’ talent and achievements have already been witnessed.
Nurturing students' love of learning sets us apart. Apex Academy continues to provide the best to our students academically and socially. We are humbled and proud by the trust and teamwork achieved with our teachers, students and families. You are the most important part of the Apex family.
