POTH ISD VATRE INFORMATION

The Poth ISD Board of Trustees has called a Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) for November 3, 2026, and we want to begin sharing with our community what this means for Poth ISD.

Please see the attached message from the Poth ISD Board of Trustees for additional information.

Also, please join us on August 31, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Poth ISD Cafeteria (310 Brinkoeter) for our first town hall meeting to learn more about the VATRE, its impact to the district, and answer any questions you might have.

We are excited to welcome our students, staff, and community back to our newly resurfaced track! It looks fantastic, and we are incredibly proud to have this facility available for our Pirates and the Poth community. 👟✨

Now we need everyone’s help to keep it looking this way! Please take a moment to review the posted track rules and help us protect this investment by keeping the facility safe, clean, and Pirate Proud.

We appreciate our community’s patience while the improvements were completed and your continued help in taking care of a facility we can all enjoy.

Let’s go girls! Our first annual Alumni Volleyball Games are set for Saturday, September 19 💙💛 Complete the form to save your spot! We are looking forward to watching the Legends of Poth High School Volleyball take the court once again 🏐
Sign up by Monday, September 14 so that we can make teams and set game times. If you’re not able to play, we would love to have you there in some way as a team coach or referee!

Students that need volunteer/community service hours can reach out to us about opportunities for calling lines or working the concession stand.

In the wake of the heartbreaking loss of East Bernard ISD's Athletic Director/Head Football Coach Jeremy Jenkins and his wife, Brandy, Poth is stepping up to rally support for their three sons.

At our August 20th football scrimmage, the Poth Athletic Booster Club will donate all concession proceeds to the Jenkins family, along with an additional $500 contribution from PABC. Donation buckets will also be available at the entrance and concession stand for anyone who would like to give.

This is bigger than football. It’s about the bond shared between schools, communities, and Texas. Reminding one family that they are not walking through this alone.

Pirate Nation, let’s show up with love.
