Kiamichi Tech's Practical Nursing program elected its new HOSA (Future Health Professionals) officers! 💙

We’re excited to see these future healthcare leaders step up, serve their classmates, and represent our program with dedication and passion. Here’s to a great year of leadership, learning, and making a difference! 👏✨

Our students also elected a Student Impact Team Leader who will serve as a voice for their peers by bringing student suggestions, ideas, and feedback to the directors and leaders of our school. 💙

In addition, students selected representatives to serve as a Business & Education Council Committee Member and a Practical Nursing Student Advisory Member, giving students even more opportunities to share their perspectives, contribute ideas, and help strengthen our nursing program, school, and community.

Congratulations, Waylon Pinto! 🪖

Kiamichi Tech is incredibly proud of Criminal Justice student Waylon Pinto for enlisting in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. He will begin basic training in June.
Waylon is a senior in the Criminal Justice program. While attending Kiamichi Tech, he obtained his Microburst Employability Soft Skills certification.

✈️ Happy National Aviation Day! ✈️

Today, we’re celebrating the next generation of aviation professionals, including Kiamichi Tech Aviation Technology graduates Nicholas Silva and Alessio Boscardi, pictured here with Aviation Technology Instructor Max Parker.

During their time in Kiamichi Tech’s Aviation Technology program, Nicholas and Alessio gained hands-on experience in aviation maintenance, building the technical skills and industry knowledge that serve as the foundation for successful careers in aviation.
Their journey is just taking off! Both graduates are currently pursuing their pilot’s licenses and will continue their aviation education this September at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology.

We are proud of Nicholas and Alessio for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to reaching new heights. Join us in wishing them safe skies and continued success as they follow their dreams in aviation! ✈️🛩️

Kiamichi Tech's Health Science Education students are building essential skills in infection control and sterile gloving! 🧤🦠
Through hands-on practice, students are learning how proper technique, attention to detail, and maintaining a sterile field help protect patients and healthcare professionals. 💙👏
These skills today help prepare them for confident, safe, and professional healthcare practice tomorrow! 🌟🏥
After practicing proper technique, students added a little friendly competition! 🏆⏱️ They challenged each other to see who could complete the sterile gloving process properly and safely in the fastest time—all while maintaining correct technique and protecting the sterile field. 👏🧤
It was a fun way to reinforce the importance of precision, speed, and patient safety in healthcare! 💙🏥
