We had a wonderful visit from Wildlife, Fish & Game guest speaker James Williams!
Our students loved learning about wildlife, different animal tracks, and hearing the story of David & Goliath—a great reminder that with God, we can face even the biggest challenges, no matter how small we are! 💙🙏

This week we are learning that God takes care of us—just like He took care of baby Moses! 💙🧺

We also talked about how God takes care of all His creation, even the cows! 🐄🌿 God knows what we need, He provides for us, and He is always watching over us.

Today, our students gathered around the flagpole to pray for our school, our teachers, our families, our community, and our nation. ❤️

What a beautiful reminder that we don’t have to face anything on our own—we can bring it all to God in prayer.

🌦️ Weather Day at School! 🌈

We had a special visitor today! Our students loved learning all about the weather from a real meteorologist from 5 News!! 📺☀️🌪️
They got to ask questions, learn some fun weather facts, see the Storm Chaser vehicle and see what it’s like to be a meteorologist!

We’re so thankful for special visitor, Dominic Carrico who made learning fun, exciting, and memorable for us! 💙

Parents, if your child is ages 5 and under, there will be a flyer in their cubbies for The Imagination Library club. This is not required by any means, but it is a completely FREE program where your child gets mailed a free age appropriate book once monthly. We have pre-addressed the envelopes (they go to the United Way of Fort Smith) for you guys, to make it a little easier. All you have to do is fill out this form and mail it in! Enjoy!

We are so thankful for our amazing God, and that He was so intentional with the beauty of our world.

Dear families,

This year, our class is excited to read with Scholastic Book Clubs! It’s a great way to build up your child’s book collection at home and help them improve their reading skills. And when you shop with Clubs, your orders earn points I can redeem for books and other classroom supplies we need.

Here’s how it works: I’ll send home flyers throughout the year. If you decide to place an order, you can do that through our class ordering page. Your books will arrive at school about 10 days after I submit our classroom order.

By teaming up with Scholastic, we’ll help your child become a more confident, independent reader—and we’ll build a classroom library all of my students are excited to explore! Orders are due by midnight on August 31st!

This week in Bible Time, we have been learning about Worship and how important it is to show God just how much we love Him!

We have sang songs, read about hero’s in the Bible worshipping God, and today we had Ms. Katelyn Hagler come show us how to worship in sign language!! 🤟 🎶 🙌
