CCA had a little visitor today…we mean a GIGANIC Visitor!! One of our awesome grandpas drives this big guy and stopped by our school to say hi! So thankful he did!! We had a blast!! 🥔

Welcome back! Excited to see everyone tomorrow

We are all set!! New-family and new-year orientations are ready to GO! Please check your scheduled time on Dojo and bring any paperwork, registration fees, or questions you might have and I will get you all set! If you have a pre-k or kindergarten kiddo, please bring them to the orientation so I can sit with them and do a small assessment and share the treasures of our classroom with them - I have a little welcome treat for them! A little "church-clap" fun. Tomorrow is CCA Olympics in the morning. Please bring water and running shoes if you come. No afternoon activities for Wed. and Thurs/Fri will just be daycare days/classroom prep.

Tues- year book signing about 9:30-10:30 and then just daycare

Wed- CCA Olympics in the morning before lunch. Bring water and good running shoes, daycare after

Thurs-whole school cleaning inside/outside and parents welcome

Fri- financial check-out and report cards with Mrs. Young and daycare

We celebrated the end of our books with some shaving cream fun and treats. We also enjoyed our last chapel with Mr. Young and the whole school.Tomorrow is K graduation and then some organization of our classroom

Greetings 2nd Grade Families, July 28-Aug. 1
Welcome to the last week of school! We’ve finally made it and WOW, what a fun year! Your students have done a fantastic job this year in all areas. It’s always fun to compare the first weeks of school with the last. So much growth occurs during those months. We will have a little celebration with our traditional, “shaving cream on the desk” day on Thursday, along with rootbeer floats/banana splits. If you’d like to send a treat for the class, that is welcome as well. We’ll be cleaning out our desks at the end of this week and preparing our room for the next 2nd grade class.

As a reward for all the hard work, there will be no homework this week, including spelling. We are just finishing up our spelling book and there will be no test over the review list. We have 2 math tests to finish and 1 language, along with a handful of cursive assignments but we are so excited to be so near the end.
The fun week (Aug.4-8) is a week of NO curriculum at all, just fun events. Attendance is optional.
MON- no events, just daycare/play time/classroom cleaning
TUES- yearbook signing in the morning about 9:30-10:30, then just daycare
WED- CCA Olympics in the morning- bring water and play some fun games
THURS- cleaning of the WHOLE school, inside and out. Parents are welcome to help at any time, daycare day
FRI- no activities- Financial check-out and pick up report card from Mrs. Young/ daycare day
Thank you all for your love and support for our classroom. I can’t wait to see how well these kids do next year, no matter where they land for 3rd grade. God is by their side in all things!
