We’ve finally gotten to the end of summer! Saying goodbye to some of our kiddos that are moving up to elementary school is always so bittersweet ❤️ We want to thank all of our families that have been with us and welcome the ones just starting out! Now we gear up for an amazing school year!

Today is a day of both goodbyes and celebration at Creative Kids! 💛

After seven wonderful years, we are saying goodbye to Miss Margo. We are incredibly grateful for the love, dedication, and care she has given to our children, families, school, and community throughout the years. She has made a lasting difference in the lives of so many children, and she will be greatly missed!

We wish Miss Margo all the very best in this next chapter and hope she enjoys every special moment with her new grandbabies! Please join us in thanking her for seven amazing years and wishing her well! 💐

We are also excited to celebrate Miss Tine’s 9-year anniversary with Creative Kids today! 🎉 For nine years, Miss Tine has shared her dedication, kindness, and love with our children and families. We are so thankful for her many years of commitment and feel incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our Creative Kids family!

Children need to hear the word “no.”

Saying “no” is not mean or unkind—it is an important part of teaching and preparing children for life. Sometimes a calm explanation is appropriate, and sometimes children simply need a clear, firm “no.”

Hearing “no” teaches children patience, self-control, respect, healthy boundaries, and how to handle disappointment. It helps them understand that they cannot always have what they want, do what they want, or expect others to give in.

When children are rarely told “no,” they may struggle when things don’t go their way, have difficulty respecting rules and boundaries, expect immediate gratification, and become easily overwhelmed by frustration or disappointment.

Children are allowed to feel upset when they are told “no.” It is not our job to prevent every uncomfortable feeling. It is our job to help them learn how to manage those feelings appropriately.

A firm “no” can be loving. Clear and consistent limits help children feel safe, understand what is expected, and develop the skills they need for school, friendships, and life. 💛

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank our incredible Creative Kids teachers! ❤️

So much of what they do each day happens behind the scenes—the planning, teaching, cleaning, comforting, encouraging, problem-solving, and loving each child as their own. They give so much of themselves to make sure every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.
We are incredibly grateful for the patience, dedication, and heart our teachers bring to Creative Kids every single day. We truly couldn’t do it without them! Please help us show our amazing teachers some love! ❤️
