Important Update: Daily Moment of Silence

In compliance with new state law (Idaho HB623), all public schools will observe a daily one-minute moment of silence at or near the start of each school day.

During this 60-second period, students will remain quiet. They may use this time to reflect, pray, or engage in any silent, non-disruptive activity. School staff will ensure the classroom stays quiet but will not direct how students use their time.

How families can help: We encourage parents and guardians to talk with their children at home about how they would like to use this time each morning for quiet reflection or personal choice.

Special Note for Kindergarten Families: On August 19th, our future kindergarteners will also complete a quick and friendly Fall Kindergarten Screener while you register! To help us get to know your child and support them from day one, we will ask them to try a few simple skills, such as:
• Identifying lowercase letters
• Writing their first and last name
• Counting up to 30

Get Ready to Ride! 2026–2027 School Bus Sign-Ups Are Open!

We can’t wait to see our students' smiling faces on the bus this fall! To make sure your child has a seat saved and ready to go, please be sure to sign them up for transportation before the school year begins.

• Registration is Required: Every student who wants to ride the bus must be registered first.
• New Routes: We have updated our bus routes for the upcoming school year, so make sure to check your times and stops!

We are pleased to share that Anna Wilson has been named Superintendent for the 2026–2027 school year! A proud Post Falls High School graduate with 33 years of experience in local public education, including her leadership as Assistant and Deputy Superintendent right here in our district, Anna brings a deep commitment to student success, strong community partnerships, and exceptional opportunities for every child.

Welcome Principal Becker to Mullan Trail Elementary!

We are excited to share that Heather Becker is taking the helm as the new Principal of Mullan Trail Elementary School!

With 15 years of Idaho educational leadership experience, including two years as Assistant Principal at Seltice Elementary, Principal Becker brings a wonderful background as both an educator and former school counselor to our Mullan Trail family.
