We are so proud of our students! They did it! Producing The Sound of Music together was so much fun! They have put in so much effort, creativity, and love into it, and they have grown immensely this season! It is such a great joy to work with these amazing kids! 🙏😇🥹❤️ Thank you so much to all the families who came and supported them this week!

At River Tech, our Performing Arts Program gives students opportunities to grow in music, drama, dance, and performing arts skills — and this year, our students are excited to present the classic Sound of Music musical!

This year’s journey looked very different than we originally imagined. After losing our props, costumes, and decor in the fire, our students kept showing up, practicing, adapting, and working hard through this season of transition. Along the way, we have seen so much perseverance, creativity, joy, and faithfulness — and we are so proud of our students and all they have put into this musical.

Thank you to CYT North Idaho, Lake City Playhouse, and Spokane Valley Summer Theater for generously donating costumes and supporting our students during this season!

Most of all, we thank God for His faithfulness through it all!

At River Tech, our Technology Program gives students hands-on experience in robotics, engineering, coding, circuitry, 3D design, filmmaking, problem-solving, and creative technology. From our youngest students to our high schoolers, we love seeing curiosity, teamwork, and critical thinking come alive in the classroom! Our high school students also learn how to use tools like AI responsibly to support creativity, learning, and problem solving.

After losing many of our STEM materials in the fire, we are incredibly grateful to Gizmo Community Makerspace at North Idaho College for generously lending us robotics and technology equipment while we rebuild. Replacing these kinds of materials takes time, so this support has made a huge difference for our students and teachers this season.
