Envisioneering Center Portville Central School

Don't worry, during construction of the new Envisioneering Center, the facility is still open in a limited capacity. We have relocated some of the equipment and are still able to make available 3D printers, laser engravers, a desktop cnc router, graphic printers, and more! Ensuring our students have the opportunity to stay engaged with the STEM center and hands on learning during construction of the new facility. This minor inconvenience will pale in comparison to the incredible opportunities we will be able to offer in the all new state of the art Envisioneering Center!

Exciting news!!! Construction has begun for the all new modernized Envisioneering Center at Portville Central School. Watch for updates of the progress of turning the old STEM center into a bigger and better facility for our students and the community.

The Portville Central School Envisioneering Center is currently closed for renovation. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience however we are excited to introduce the all new and improved Envisioneering Center opening in the near future!

The PCS Soap Box Derby team had a great day at the Jamestown Area Rally on Saturday. Representing Portville in the Stock Division was Jacob Moses and Getty Krakat. Competing in the Super Stock Division was Alex Edick, Ella Moses, Lucas Lyons, and Garry Studley. In a field of around 50 of the best competitors in the sport congratulation to Alex for finishing in the top 8 and Ella in the top 4!!! I'll post final finishing positions when they become available.

The PCS Soap Box Derby Team had a great time at the 40th annual Jamestown Area race. Driving for Portville this year was Alex Edick, Lucas Lyons, Garry Studley and Carter Bauer. Congratulations to all the competitors on a very successful day. Be sure to congratulate Garry Studley for finishing second in the STEM stock division and Carter Bauer for finishing second in the STEM super stock division.

The Jamestown Area Soap Box Derby will be celebrating its 40th running on June 7th. Happened to be going through some boxes a couple of weeks ago and found a picture of me in 1988 (11 years old) with my car. Do you have memories of your time as a racer with the Jamestown derby that you’d like to share with us. We’d love to see them!!
