Parents As Teachers - Looking Upwards Parents As Teachers is a program of Looking Upwards. with children prenatal to age kindergarten entry.

PAT is a free program for families in Bristol, Warren, Little Compton, Tiverton, Portsmouth, Middletown and Newport with children 0-5yrs, offering home visits, parent group meetings, screenings & resource referrals. It is a FREE family visiting program for ANY family in Bristol, Warren, Portsmouth, Little Compton and Tiverton. The goal of Parents As Teachers (PAT) is to improve parent knowledge of child development, develop parenting capabilities, and promote school readiness through personal visits. The program uses a national scientifically valid and evidence-based early childhood curriculum. Certified Parent Educators provide four service components, customized to meet the needs of individual families:
~ Personal home visits
~ Group Connections
~ Screenings (developmental, health, vision and hearing screenings for early identification of potential delays/problems)
~ Resource network

🚗 BRISTOL POLICE CAR SEAT CLINIC

Bristol Police will be hosting a Car Seat Clinic on Saturday, September 12th, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bristol Police Headquarters.

Have your child’s car seat installed or checked by our certified car seat technicians to make sure it is properly and safely installed.
