We're excited to share this week's testimonial from Katie & Joe Herrmann, proud Notre Dame parents. Joe is also a member of the Notre Dame Class of 2002, giving their family a unique perspective on the lifelong impact of a Notre Dame education.

A little piece of Notre Dame history was discovered today!
While cleaning out a closet, we came across what appears to be an old band uniform with a date of 1953 written inside. 💙💛
It’s amazing to think about the student who may have worn this uniform more than 70 years ago and the memories it holds from a different era of Notre Dame.
Do any of our alumni recognize this uniform or have memories of the Notre Dame band from the 1950s? We’d love to hear your stories and see any photos you may have!
Share your memories in the comments below. ⬇️

The outpouring of love and support for the McKenzie family has been truly overwhelming.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our school, parish, and surrounding community, we will be presenting the family with a check tomorrow from all of your donations so they can quickly access the resources, necessities, and support they need during this unimaginable time.
We are deeply grateful to every person who has donated, shared the fundraiser, sent a message, offered a prayer, or simply reached out with words of encouragement. Your kindness has reminded us that even in the midst of tragedy, our community comes together in extraordinary ways.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside the McKenzie family. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they begin the long journey ahead. We also ask that you remember the pilot’s family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
Thank you for showing what it means to be a community. ❤️

💙💛 TITANS HELPING TITANS 💙💛
This morning, the McKenzie family—JD, Crystal, Colten, and Piper—experienced an unimaginable tragedy when a plane crashed into their home.
While we are incredibly grateful that they were able to escape their home safely, the devastation left behind is overwhelming. In a matter of moments, members of our school community lost so much. The home they built together, filled with years of memories and cherished belongings, was forever changed in an instant.
As they begin the long road to recovery, we have an opportunity to surround them with the love, compassion, and support that make our Notre Dame family so special.
The McKenzie family has been an important part of our school, parish, and community. Today, we ask our Titan family, alumni, parishioners, friends, and neighbors to come together in support as they navigate the difficult days and months ahead.
No gift is too small. Every donation, prayer, and act of kindness will help provide hope, encouragement, and support as they begin the process of rebuilding.
We also ask that you keep the family and loved ones of the pilot in your prayers. While this tragedy has deeply impacted the McKenzie family, it also claimed a life, and we pray for comfort, peace, and strength for all who are grieving this heartbreaking loss.
Please continue to keep the McKenzie family, the pilot’s family, first responders, and all those affected by this tragedy in your prayers.
